We offer classes for the beginner hockey enthusiast, ages 5 - 15. Players are welcome to join anytime during the season.
Hockey 1
We continue to work on the basic skating skills, hockey starts and stops, introduction to passing and stick handling skills.
Equipment requirements include a stick, and a hockey helmet with face mask. We strongly recommend elbow pads, shin guards and gloves.
Hockey 2
Continuing education includes power skating, advanced stick handling, passing and shooting.
Equipment requirements include a stick, a hockey helmet with face mask, elbow pads, shin guards and gloves. Hockey pants are recommended.

What you Learn?
Geared toward entry level boys and girls wanting to learn the fundamentals of skating and playing hockey. Ability to skate forward is important. Teaching basic hockey skating skills including power stride, turns, center of balance and hockey starts and stops. Introduction to passing, stick handling and shooting.

Must have a protective hockey helmet with face mask, shin guards and a stick. Elbow and gloves are strongly recommended, but not required.

Geared toward the graduates from Hockey 1or other boys and girls having some basic knowledge of skating and hockey skills. Hockey 2 teaches more advanced hockey skills including: power skating, forward/backward crossovers, backhand passing, one on one stick handling and shooting in stride.

Must have full hockey gear: hockey helmet with face mask, elbow pads, shin guards, gloves, shoulder pads, pants, supporter and a stick.
